Is anyone else having a delay issue with ring and it interacting with the Amazon echos? Theres seems to have been an update where the echos now do the chime noise when a sensor is triggered. The issue is my echos are randomly doing it. I also set off my alarm and when deactivated, all the echos kept the siren sound going. I tried disabling the skill and re-adding but no go. Thanks!
Hi @user30893. Yes, the feature to Play Alarm Sounds on Echo Devices was recently added. Since you’re experiencing a delay, I’d recommend toggling this feature off and back on to see if that corrects the issue. You can also leave it toggled off if you prefer to not have your Echo devices mimic the Ring Alarm sounds.
