There seems to be a delay when Ring Video Doorbell is capturing motion video. When a vehicle passes it starts to capture motion, but after the vehicle is leaving detection area and cannot seem to make out vehicles in many cases, due to the delay. Any ideas on improving detection quickness would be appreciated.
Hi @HBM. For our battery powered devices, they only have a recording time of 30 seconds. Therefore, once motion is detected, the video will then record, which could cause a small delay to start the video. I would recommend to check out our Ring Help Center Article here to look into ways you can improve your motion detection and play around with your settings.
