Defective battery and USB connection Ring Gen 1


I have a technical question about the Ring Doorbell Gen 1, of which I own 2 pieces!
One of them has a broken contact for charging via USB, and I have to fumble a lot,
until I can even start charching and the other one has a defective battery,
because it empties itself within a very short time without activity!

Is there a way to repair this or can I unscrew the devices and if so, how !?

Hi @GinKnopf! The Ring Doorbell gen 1 does not have a removable battery, and we do not advise removing the back cover. The best first step here will be to check the USB port for debris and ensure the contacts are clean. If another USB is available, try using it to see if it charges without hassle.
