Contact sensor offline even though battery tab hasn't been pulled
Hello My ring app says that one of my contact sensors is offline, but I haven't even pulled the pull tab in order to activate it. Is this normal or should I be concerned? I activated the other 3 sensors

All of the sensors that were in the kit with the base station seemed to be "pre-activated" for me. Every one was listed as offline before I connected them. I think your situation is normal. The sensors that were packaged separately as part of the larger "kit" (those that came with my 15 or whatever piece kit but where not in the same box as the base stations) were not pre-activated and did not show until I connected them.

Hi @Wavepush! While this should not happen during a first time setup, it is possible that a Sensor you received with an Alarm Kit may have received power for a moment, but not long enough to complete setup. This might happen if the battery tab was out of position or moved in a way that allowed power. As you mentioned setting up other devices successfully, once those are paired and updated this Sensor should also add with out any issues. Feel free to let us know how this goes! :)
