Connectivity changes during the day

Hi, I have 4 doorbells at 3 addresses (and many cameras but let’s focus on the doorbells).
I live in Sweden and during the morning about 07-13 (about 11PM - 5AM pacific time I think…) the connectivity to my Ring devices are horrible. I can’t start (or it takes about 20-30 sec to open) a live view on my doorbell for instance (=answer a call). I have a pretty nice wifi and the problem is at all 3 addresses (unifi network at all locations) so it really feels like a Ring problem during the night??

Hi @stebberg. I would start off with some basic troubleshooting steps for this type of concern. Try the following steps:

  • Reboot your Ring devices using the Ring app.

  • Reboot the router at each location. You might have an app from your internet provider that lets you do this, or you might contact the internet service provider in order to reboot the router. This is if you are not able to easily go to the location where the Ring device is.

  • Verify that your Ring app and phone are up-to-date with the latest updates.

  • Verify that your Ring devices have good signal strength.

  • Disable any active VPNs on your phone.
