Chime not working while ring is in record mode

When there is motion, I have configured the ring will record 3 minutes. Unfortunately it seems that while the ring is in record mode a push on the button will not result in sound of the chime or a notification the app. This should not be so difficult to program. So please fix, or I have to lower the record time to prevent these types of issues
