Cheap plastic lens covers that crack under normal conditions in 3 years
hardwired-video-doorbell
negative-feedback
Here is the issue. NO! My doorbell is not under warranty as it's 3 years old. I want to know if this very old issue has been addressed and the new ring doorbells have a new lens covers over the camera eye. The old one is clearly plastic and everyone needs to stop calling it glass. it is not glass and it should be glass. Over a period of a just few years the plastic lens cover degrades and the plastic cracks and turns white due to age right across the viewing lens. If Ring has not addressed this and made changes then I will be finding a new doorbell camera.
