Change of router

Am changing my router and the SSID will change. So, ring doorbell pro will need to connect with the new router. I know I need to unscrew the cover of the bell and use the button inside to rest. However, is there any way I can reset it without going through this process please?

Good question, @devdeep! When changing networks, or needing to reconnect your Video Doorbell, the setup button will have to be pressed. This is true for setup processes and reconnection, as reflected in the steps in this help center article.

We’ve seen neighbors share success with their devices reconnecting automatically, however, a network change would require a new connection process to be completed. I hope this helps! :slight_smile:
