Good question, @Michaelrd! Your Ring Alarm Base Station is certainly capable of using cellular back up. Check out our help center article about cellular back and other back up features of your Alarm. Please note, subscribing to a Protect Plus plan is necessary to use cellular backup. I hope this helps!
