I’ve received intermittent notifications that my Ring Car-Cam is shutting down to preserve my car’s battery, even though the engine is still running. I could possibly understand this if it was installed on an EV, but this is in a 2014 Mercedes E350 Internal combustion engine. I have the camera set for maximum battery usage (delay shut down as much as possible), so I’m definitely confused as to why it would shut down, when the engine is running. (The Batteries are both relatively new … this model uses two different batteries in different locations) Having the camera shut down, while driving, sort of defeats the purpose of having it.
