With the introduction of Car Cam Shared access needs to be “updated”. I have shared access turned off for my spouse yet they still get notifications and can view the camera inside the vehicle. Since a vehicle is more of a personal item unlike a house that is shared by the entire family there needs to be a way to delete access to car cam all together for all but the owner of the vehicle
Hi @niceguynepa. Shared User access would need to be toggled on for all Ring Cameras, including the Car Cam. Is there any chance your spouse is signed into your Ring account? I’d recommend having them check by tapping the menu in the top left of the Ring app > Account Settings > and check the email address and name. If they are signed into the wrong account, they can sign out by scrolling to the bottom of this menu and tapping Sign Out.
