i have a device which i cant register as it is sending a code to an old mobile number, when i follow the steps to authorise a device (open another device, go to control centre, click authorise new device, get code etc), it doesnt accept the new code. how do i get this to work before i smash it off the wall?
Hi @user30229. If you’re able to sign into your Ring account on another device, you should be able to update the phone number used for account verification within the Control Center. Tap on Account Verification and tap Update mobile number under the Two-Step Verification section. When you sign into your Ring account on a new device, the verification code should now be sent to the update phone number.
