Cannot get the phone to play a sound when bell is pressed

Hi,
I have a Ring Doorbell (2nd gen) wired connected to 2 Echo Dot and 1 mobile (android). I have installed both ring app and rapid ring.

I was expecting phone to ring when bell is pressed but it only vibrates. I am often in the back garden with and I need a sound to know that the someone is ringing the bell.

I have tried picking up a notification sound, but nothing…

Any suggestions?

Hi @PAlves. Do you have the ringer volume enabled on your phone’s settings, or is it set to silent? If it’s set to silent, then you will only receive a vibration from your phone rather than the alert sound that you selected in the Ring App.
