Cannot get notifications on Amazon Echo Show 10

I have done everything I can think of at this point.
I have added the skill on my Alexa app, gone through all the prompts to get it to connect to my Amazon account.
Once doing that, I am able to see the camera, by just saying “Alexa Show me ______”.
Now, I go into the RING app and I need to “search for Alexa-enabled devices”. It continuously tells me that “no eligible devices were found” and to open the Alexa app.

I have done this 3 times now. Disabling the skill, re-enabling it, starting the cycle all over again until I get to the ring app portion.

I should mention, in the beginning they were on 2 different wifi networks. Now, they are on the same network, same issues. They are also using the same email as I heard that may cause an issue.

In the Alexa app, I have everything turned on for the ring doorbell (motion, doorbell, etc notifications) and I have DND off. In the Ring app, the same thing. All notifications are ON.

I have the Ring Doorbell 4 and the Echo Show 10. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong at this point. I am beyond frustrated. I made sure even my phone was on the same network as the 2, in case that was an issue as well.

Please, someone tell me what I can do to get my motion alerts and everything?

Hi @SailorMoon. If your Alexa is not making announcements for rings and motions for your Doorbell, you can also try the following steps:

  • Check that the Ring app, smart phone, and Alexa app have the most recent updates.

  • Verify you have toggled on the correct announcement settings in the Alexa app.

If you have tried these steps and are still having the same concern, give our support team a call at one of the numbers available here for further assistance. If you are outside of the US, please visit here to see how to contact support.
