Can you add 3rd Party Cameras to the Ring App?

I have a ring alarm system in which I use the APP. Can you add 3rd party cameras and manage them through the App?

Hello @BigDaddyMike ,

I am sorry to say that currently, the Ring App has not been designed for, nor can control/manage, 3rd party video cameras.

The Ring App is designed to control the Ring Alarm system (Intruder Alarm System) and the Ring Video Security Cameras and Ring Video Doorbells (Surveillance System).

The heart and central Hub of the Ring Alarm system is the Ring Alarm Base Station. The Base Station is connected to your Internet Router either by an Ethernet Cable or by using Wi-Fi. All the alarm sensors connect to the Base Station utilizing the Z-Wave frequency. The Ring Base Station has a limited ability to connect with other 3rd party devices that also use Z-Wave. The Base Station has some ability to use some compatible 3rd party devices that also utilize Z-Wave frequency.

On the other hand, the Ring Video Camera devices connect to your Internet Router directly utilizing Wi-Fi. The current exception is the “Ring Stick-Up Camera Elite”, which besides using Wi-Fi to connect to your Router, it can also be connected to your Router using an Ethernet cable:
