Can’t turn on alarm.

Okay I’m sure I must be doing something wrong because this is such a basic problem the others must’ve experienced it.

I cannot activate the alarm whilst the front door is open because it wants me to bypass the sensor. If I enable The alarm with the door closed the alarm goes off when I tried to leave the house. Basically the only way I can fully arm the system is using the app once I’ve left the house.

What am I doing wrong?

Place the door sensor to main door in device settings under advanced and set entry/exit delay.

Thats done it many thanks it was driving me crazy.

Yes, it really only shows this during setup. So it’s easy to miss. You can also set motion detectors to have delays as well.
