Can not change Alert tone

i can not change alert tone, alert tone wind chime making me nut and loud to my ears, especially wearing airpod, i tried to change it 10 times even closed app and back and forth, same ring alert tone over and over again, thinking of dumping ring camera altogether soon if ring can not fix the issues
