Hi I’ve just purchased a Ring Doorbell for my elderly mother can I pay so that I can add it to my account so it records and saves the door activity I’m sure I will have to pay more but I’d like to be able to check and put off salesman from bothering her.
Hi @user47601. If you’re wanting control of the Doorbell’s settings and paying for the Ring Protect plan, you’ll want to set it up under your Ring account and add your mother as a Shared User. That would give you the ability to pay for the Ring Protect plan, and adding her as a Shared User allows her to receive notifications and open the Live View to speak with visitors at the door.
