I am experiencing this issue too , just started recently. Cannot find anything on help pages or other posts.

This is odd to see. Try power cycling your Video Doorbell by removing the battery (only if quick release battery model) and putting it back in the Doorbell. As always, check out your [RSSI in the device health section of the Ring app](https://community.ring.com/t/how-it-works-your-ring-device-rssi-good-vs-poor/229), to ensure for optimal wifi signal. The next best step will be to reset your Video Doorbell by holding the setup button for 20 seconds. Once this step is complete, please reconnect your Ring device by following the steps in this [Help Center article](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034825092-How-to-Reconnect-Your-Ring-Device-to-Wifi-or-Change-Your-Wifi-Network). Could this be due to a firmware issues? Mine does this too. It feels like this started happening after a firmware install so maybe to make you buy another device? Should be a sealed device, so other than firmware I've no idea how this can happen to such a popular device. It's only the infrared sensor which has this issue, if this starts happening to my back door camera I shall be really concerned. I've put up with it for a year, I had to go out and buy a spot light pro because if this too watch my car. And why would WiFi cause this, that's just nonsense, it would be random corrupted blocks, not lines from left to right. It's digital not analogue!. Either broken fw update or substandard parts I think.
