Hi. I’m looking to update my old security cameras with Ring ones, but not sure if they will mount like the ones I have (see attached picture). Any advice or help would be most appreciated. Thank you!
Hi @jlmank33. Most Ring Security Cameras are designed to be mounted on a wall rather than a ceiling, as they are not designed to look straight down like in the photo you provided. I’d recommend reviewing the information in our Security Camera Buyer’s Guide, as this will go over all of the features and power requirements for the different Cameras we have. We also have a Security Camera Placement Guide, which can give you more insight as you decide which Camera will be the best fit for you based on where you want to install it.
