Camera only showing in black and white

This past week our camera started only displaying in black and white and we can’t figure out how to get it back to showing color again. The online help is useless and only tells us about nighttime infra red settings. Any info would be appreciated.


I am having the exact same problem. Started about 2 days ago. I can remove the battery and reset which fixes it for a few minutes, then it reverts back.

Same issue, I’m Rey to charge the battery more to see if it helps, is there any number to contact someone, the help services just sends you in circles

I have the same problem. Started two weeks ago after working fine for over a year.

Hi @Tor! As long as the lighting in the area is reasonably sufficient and in the majority of lens view, the lens should adjust as intended. I recommend double checking your device settings in the Ring app for your Camera, such as video settings. Feel free to include a video example of this concern so we can take a closer look! :slight_smile:

I just took a flash light and shined it right into the front of my ring doorbell and now my color is back…
