Black screens and endless loops of "Activating"

I have been searching the Ring site and other places to find a place to post complaints about the product. I am not confident this one will be seen by anyone…but here it is. I have had the Ring doorbell and floodlight version now for a couple of years. Most of the time when I try to connect to them to see the live view I get either an endless hula hoop ring of “activating” or it comes up with a black, empty screen. The signal strength is Good …I have the fastest internet connection provided for residential use in my area. The doorbell ring has such a long delay that whomever pushed the button is long gone by the time I hear the audible ring on my phone, tablet, or computer. So, trying to bring up the video, which fails most of the time, is useless since they are no longer near the camera if I can manage to get it working. I can only hope that someone seeing the physical devices is enough deterent to would be bad guys since I can’t rely on them to pull up real-time information. I am looking for another, more reliable, solution.
