Battery Door Open Error Message
Getting the error battery door opened. I tried closing the battery lid with clicking sound more than 10 times and even tried resetting for 5 times. No use still showing the same error. How to stop these messages or get it to recognize the door is closed?

They should either discontinue the camera or fix the problem and replace ALL customer cameras. Like others suggest, make an option on app to disable error alert/ msg. Replace camera with different battery model completely. It's painful, but please contact support and go through their procedures they will replace the camera of problem can't be solved.

Our stickup with solar panel has been up there for a few years. Just got this lovely annoyance today. This camera, being the hardest to get to, has OF COURSE been our most problematic. No one can reach it, I KNOW that door isn't open unless raccoons can suddenly fly. Add me to the list. I'll try a new battery, otherwise, I will ignore this non-message. Until I can't, then I will buy a different brand and cancel my account.

I have the same issue with my battery hatch that will no longer stay closed. its been cleaned all over and still will not stay closed.

Had this same problem since installed that’s over a year now, tried tape, elastic bands, still doesn’t work. Poor design on a very expensive piece of equipment.

I have the battery door open error message. I haven't even installed the camera yet - it is on my network but all notifications are off. It appears to work fine. I've checked the door and it is clicked closed, I have done resets and rejoined the network several times, I have swapped batteries with my doorbell, and still the error message. Is it a problem? or just an error message?
