Battery Door Open Error Message
Getting the error battery door opened. I tried closing the battery lid with clicking sound more than 10 times and even tried resetting for 5 times. No use still showing the same error. How to stop these messages or get it to recognize the door is closed?

I just thought I would join the LONG list of people complaining about this issue - what in the name of Jehovah do we have to do to get this fixed? If you think you can just ignore a pretty annoying fault and keep selling these things you should be ashamed Mr.Ring or Bezos or whoever's in charge there, get it sorted ffs!

What’s going on Ring? There’s a message from someone representing you saying this issue has been fixed but clearly it has not. Brand new camera and I’ve been seeing this error from day one. What’s the solution?

FJoined the "club"! Just replaced a Spotlight Cam that had a solar panel issue and the persistant "Door Open" message. At least with the old unit a dozen door open and closes overcame the problem. The new unit received from Ring is also displaying "Door Open". I've opened and closed the door multiple times; pulled the batteries and re-inserted a couple of times and have performed a "reset" and reconnected the camera; and re-booted the camera via the app. Still insists the door is open. I'm thinking I've bought into the wrong system now.

Yes add me to the long list. Brand new camera happening out of the box, i got it to go away by opening/closing the door over and over and it went away. So... with 4 herniated discs in my back i scaled the ladder 10 feet, drilled holes in the wall, installed the camera and solar panel which put me in a ton of pain. Pack the ladder away come inside to open the app and view my handy work and yep.... Battery door open when i didn't touch the door again. I have every camera besides the doorbell i've got floodlight wired cam, spotlight cam, stickup cam, indoor cam and some i have multiples of each but this battery floodlight cam looks like a lemon. No Ring it's not my internet, user error or the phase of the moon. Disappointing i have to climb back up the ladder in so much pain, undo everything, pack it up and send it back grrr.

I take it there is no fix yet? I've been getting this error on two different cameras. The app is almost useless because it feels the need to tell you every time you move around in app. This should be fixed can't believe it's gone on this long. As much as these units cost this is ridiculous.
