Base station stuck updating during initial set up

During the initial set up of my base station, I was able to connect it to my wireless network. It then started updating. The base station appears to be stuck updating (for the past 30 min); however the wireless icon on the vase station is blinking red.
Is it supposed to take this long to update, or do I need to reset the base station, or restart the entire set up?

Hey @dchiu3. You may need to reboot the Base Station, but this is best handled with our support team on the line and your account pulled up, to ensure nothing goes wrong.
