Base station design issue

I found big design issue with the base station: if you are inside your house, you have an activated alarm system (no professional monitoring) and if it happens that your internet or wifi quits for some reason, you cannot deactivate your alarm, you will need to leave the house with alarm sounding. The support suggested that your take the base station, unscrew it and remove the battery, which is ridiculous solution.

You can disarm your system using the keypad as the keypad works on z-wave and not TCP/IP. If you have professional monitoring then the system switches over to cellular backup and your app will still work for arm and disarm.
