Our Ring Plus base station chirps as if a door was just opened but the action may have been 10-60 min previously. We worry that this would trigger an alarm if we set the alarm and leave in that delay period. Any suggestions?
Hi @kjssecure. That definitely shouldn’t be happening, the alerts from your Base Station should play promptly after the action occurs. I would first recommend rebooting your Base Station in the Ring app to see if that clears up this delay. To do this, tap the menu in the top left > Devices > Base Station > Device Settings > Advanced Options > Reboot System. Your Ring Alarm Pro will go offline temporarily while it reboots, but this shouldn’t take long.
