Bad customer service

Had trouble with my ring doorbell when I called the guy he didn’t speak very good English so I asked him to slow down he got irritated and then after trying several things he just told me he’d send me a discount so I could buy a new one instead of walking me through how to do a factory reset. It’s only a year old I wasn’t about to buy a new one has been figured out how to do the reset and works just fine. If they weren’t going to stand behind their product why was I going to buy another device luckily I have a smart husband
