App Says add battery but the battery is inbuilt?

I have a Ring Video Doorbell Gen 2 and I put it on charge last night for 8 hours and this morning it says “add battery” I’ve tried the reboot multiple times and it’s still saying add battery. I’m not sure what else to do!

Hi @Marliex. I would recommend giving your Doorbell a factory reset and then [reconnecting it to your wifi](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034825092-How-to-Reconnect-Your-Video-Doorbell-or-Security-Camera-to-Wifi) to see if it helps. To factory reset your Doorbell press and hold the setup button on it for 20–25 seconds. Let me know if this helps.
