I’ve been trying to set up my entire ring system and each time I go to add another device, the ring app freezing up, not on particular screens, and then I have to close down the program and start over. When I do that, trying to recognize the device again, because I have to assume it didn’t when it froze on me, it says the device is already registered. I feel like I’m not going all the way through the setup portion for each device, and there doesn’t seem to be a way to tell. PLUS it’s frustrating to have to close the app and start over with each device. I’m doing a software update for the iphone to see if that helps. I just downloaded the ring app today so that one should be up to date. Any suggestions?
Hey @Jkay4ever. Updating your iOS is a great place to start, so nice thinking on that! After you update your iOS, you may want to redownload the Ring app as well just to be safe. When you do this, remove the Ring app from your phone, reboot your phone (turn it off/on) and then redownload the app. From there, try to set up a device and please let us know how it goes!
