App force closes and shuts down

I currently have the doorbell and spotlight camera. Also Spectrum internet with 400MBPS download speeds.

My ring app force closes a lot on my iPhone 11 Pro Max when using the app. Especially when trying to look at past videos of mine or viewing other ring users posts. When viewing other people’s posts I’m not able to view the video horizontally or zoom in to view criminals.

Software is up to date. It’s been happening over the last few months.

Also who determines what is crime worthy? I had posted a neighbor and their dog pooping on my yard and them not picking it up. Ring declined my post saying it wasn’t crime related.

I am having the exact problem. I hope someone responds with a solution.

Hi there, neighbors! The Ring app should be able to be closed on your mobile device, or hidden off screen, while still operating as intended with notifications and answered events. Please ensure there is not a vpn enabled on your mobile device. Feel free to also confirm the type of mobile device being used.

Checking mobile device connection variables is a great step as well. I hope this helps! :slight_smile:
