Any way to set static IP without resetting the entire device?

Says it all.. Why does it need a complete reset (wipe of all previous set up) to set a static IP? This is absurd... Is there any camera network settings that can be edited to allow the setting up of a static IP without going thru the pain of a complete reboot that wipes all previous setup? thanks

Follow this: Access the Control Panel. In the Windows search bar, type in “ncpa.cpl” and then press enter. ... Select the Network Adapter. ... Select Properties. ... Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) ... Manually enter IP address and subnet mask. ... Save Settings. ... Revert Back to DHCP. ... Glossary.
