We recently purchased an Amazon Fire tablet to use with our Ring doorbell. We were able to enable announcements through Alexa on the tablet to notify us with any motion or when the doorbell was pressed. It was working perfectly. In the last couple of weeks though, we have not been able to hear any announcements from the tablet for either motion or a doorbell press. If anybody has any solutions to help us get Ring notifications, they would be greatly appreciated. Help!
Hi @ME20! If you’ve gotten this to work prior, it should certainly notify you for motion. Check out our help center article for tips and instructions on setting up announcements with Alexa Enabled devices. Here is also our list of Ring and Alexa supported devices. As always, checking for Alexa or Ring app updates is a great step too. I hope this helps!
