All videos All Devices Pixelated Start

I have a 1gig mesh system. All ring devices are within 12ft of a WiFi device and show good connection. Problem is, both the doorbell and stick up cam videos start with several seconds of pixelated video. Am I missing something? What am I paying for? Hardly seems secure when the important part of the video is indiscernible.
