We just had the sheriffs deputy ring our doorbell because the alarm feature on our ring floodlight camera was screeching at 4 am. What would cause this? In the only person with the app and I did not activate it.
That is odd to hear @Chrissiha! The Floodlight Cam siren can only be activated by the toggle in the app, or the toggle during a live stream. As you are the only with access to the app, please make sure you don’t have a device set up to answer these alerts automatically through a 3rd party routine app. I recommend also reaching out to our support team, at 800-656-1918, to ensure this doesn’t happen again in the future.
