  Hi @Leedesert. With the update to [Customizable Motion Zones](https://community.ring.com/t5/Ring-Device-Tips-and-How-To-s/Feature-Update-Customizable-Motion-Zones-for-Battery-Devices/ba-p/62829), the small portion is not able to be selected. This is because the Cameras view is slightly larger than the area the Motion Detector covers. The new update was designed to give you a more accurate control of your motion. I hope this helps!

  I have the same issue. When I go to customize motion zones the view turns horizontal. I can adjust the zones to the left and right but the top view is cut off. If it stayed in vertical view I would be able to adjust the vertical setting. Why does the view turn horizontal on the app?

  Hi @psyclguy. As Tom mentioned, the small area at the top of your Camera's view will not be shown when you are customizing your Motion Zones as your Camera's view is slightly larger than the actual area that the Motion Detector can cover. Feel free to attach a screenshot of what you're seeing on your end when you edit the Motion Zones and I can confirm that it's displaying correctly with how the feature works. :)
