Adding remote lights to a flood light.

So I have a sensor that has failed that drives some sconces near the garage doors.They have LED bulbs in them so they aren't taking bunch of power,I would like to have those sconces come on and off with the floodlights of the floodlight cam that I would like to use to replace where the motoin sensor was.The spot light cam has an easy provision for that, but how about the floodlight cam? Do I just cut open tthe wires to the flood lights and slice in there?Thanks
