Hey @rahanna. While we do not have these features at this time, I think this is a great idea! I’ll make sure to pass your feedback onto the appropriate teams for future to see what new features we can bring to our neighbors. We are always striving to make the neighbor experience better whenever we can!
Another note I would like to make, as I’m unsure how you are viewing your history but if you go into the Ring app > Main Menu > Devices > Alarm Base Station > Base Station > Event History, you will see a more detailed log of events specific to your Base Station, like arming and disarming events. This may help you get to your events you’re looking for a lot sooner! I often use it when I’m out of town but may have people coming and knowing so I can know who is using the system, how and when. Hope that helps!
Thanks for your response and I hope you can pass this request to your Ring programmers as it will help a lot with filtering and getting a better insight of historical events.
Hello,
I second this request. I am monitoring the level of activity in my neighborhood, and having a quick way to export a timestamped history of events would be invaluable.
I agree. We are currently preparing to fight our local township government over a barking dog ordinance violation. We only let the dogs in and out of one door (which is used almost exclusively for letting the dogs in and out’), and would love to have an easily accessible method of determining the history on that door, in order to help prove that the dogs could not be outside barking uncontrollably as stated in the complaint against us.
Yes, this would be a great feature! It also helps in the business environment if I want to confirm who was first to arrive/leave office. Being able to filter Alarm History by the type of even (arm/disarm) or even the User that initiated the action would be so helpful.
I agree that this function would be a great addition to the site. Please add the ability to download the log to an offline format. (csv, xlsx, xml, etc)
