2nd Gen Hardwire Battery Issues

Device was hardwired in app now shows battery. At least 2 weeks of battery charge issues. Removed device from house to charge. While face down, the device recorded my motionless floor ALL NIGHT. Agent said I should adjust my settings so it doesn’t trigger the device. Even after I explained multiple times the device was camera down on the floor charging. Second rep acknowledged there was problem with the device but he could not help as the device was not under warranty therefore I would have to pay for a replacement. I spent 2 hours trouble shooting for tech support manager also said because the warranty was expired they could not help. This company is driven by money. I was given lots of reasons why the device was malfunctioning and one solution… buy a new device.
