2 devices at one location, but Ring acts like they’re at different locations
troubleshooting
ring-protect-plans

I set up 2 devices , at one location, about a month or so ago. Ring acts like they’re at 2 separate locations, and wants me to purchase 2 plans, instead of one. I must not have set them up correctly. I need to know how to fix this, so I can get the protection plan that covers all devices at one location.

Hi @user77760. If you have set up your Ring devices in separate locations by accident, you can change the location of a device in the Ring app without having to do another setup. To do so, follow these steps:

  • Open the Ring app
  • Choose the menu button (three lines in the upper left corner).
  • Select Devices and pick your Ring device
  • Tap Device Settings
  • Tap on General Settings
  • Select Location
  • Select the desired location you want to change it to, and tap Save

I hope this helps.
