Aside from one being wired with the ability to use a battery, and one being battery, are there any main differences between the two? Which one would you recommend purchasing of the two?

Hi @user_6b3c09. The Wired Doorbell Pro is a hardwired doorbell that does not use a battery. It needs to be hardwired to a compatible doorbell circuit with a transformer, or powered using the Plug-In Adapter. The Battery Doorbell Pro is a battery powered doorbell that comes with a Quick Release Battery pack, which can be recharged. You also have the option to hardwire the Battery Doorbell Pro, which provides a trickle charge to help keep the battery topped off. You can see an overview of each Doorbell on the product pages I linked. They'll have a lot of the same features, so the main deciding factor would be which power source you want. If you already have doorbell wiring with a compatible transformer, the Wired Doorbell Pro may be a good option. If you don't have existing wiring, or you want the flexibility of a battery powered option, the Battery Doorbell Pro might be a better choice.
