Wired Doorbell Installation Help
hardwired-video-doorbell
Hi, I’m installing the Wired Doorbell and have an existing chime. I’ve got to the point where I need to bypass the wires, but not sure which wires to connect together as it looks different to all the diagrams and videos I have seen. The wiring in the chime is: Top left (0): Thin white/blue Top right (1): Thin white/blue Bottom left (3): Thick brown (live) Bottom right (2): Thick blue (neutral) Can anyone advise please?

Hi @user_9b1c73. Which specific model of Ring Doorbell are you installing? The model name should be located on the original packaging, and on the back of the device itself. The Wired Doorbell Plus and Video Doorbell Wired have some slightly variations in their installation process, so it's helpful to know which Doorbell we're working with. As for the chime kit, you'll need to determine which wire leads to the transformer, and which leads to the doorbell button. These are usually labeled on the chime kit terminal, "Front" or "F" for the wire leading to the front door for example.
