Will a WiFi extender improve doorbell 2 connectivity

Ive just bought a doorbell 2 which I love but every time I open the app the app its hit or miss on whether the camera will work. In my living room I have an upload speed of 18 & a download speed of 72 but next to the doorbell the upload speed is 6 & download is 10. Surely that good enough? Would a wifi booster improve this, I don't really want to spend any more money if I have to. Thank You
