Why didn't Ring record my car getting towed?
Hi, I had my car towed to a garage today. My driveway is clearly in the field of view of the camera and the zone includes my entire driveway and yard. It captured none of it.I'd like to know when someone takes my car in case it's ever without my knowledge. Thanks,Jeff

Hi @Jscooper. I would recommend adding a Wedge Kit to angle the Doorbell more downward since you have steps going up to the Doorbell. The images in this Help Center article have a good visual representation of why a Wedge Kit is sometimes needed. I would also look into adjusting your Motion Zones and Motion Sensitivity, as well as changing your Motion Frequency to Frequent for your Doorbell. This Community post has additional steps you can try to help improve Motion Detection. I hope this helps.

That’s very strange because I’ve had two incidents of cars being towed from in front of my home like directly in the forward view of my cam straight on and both time’s my ring cam did not record the events at all.

What's really strange is it recorded a school bus going down the road and the street is definitely OUTside the zone. Thanks,Jeff
