I would think that once I installed my Ring doorbell the communication would be private information between my Ring doorbell and my phone. Found out today that is not the case since I can't connect and rather then it being a problem with my system it is in Rings company servers. Interesting.

Yes I consider this a huge security vulnerability that can be exploited to cause harm to my family. My camera should not be compromised locally when Ring's servers are either accidentally or intentionally offline.
