Soon as free subscription runs out
troubleshooting
Since been installed I have never adjusted any settings and only had notification when someone/ something was detected. The day after the free subscription ran out I keep getting notifications of motion detected. I have cctv and no person or animal has been near to set it off. Are ring bullying with phantom notifications to Try and get me to resubscribe?????? Ps, I have never adjusted or played with ANY settings and it was very good product during the free subscription.

Hi @user_e08e25. Certain features require a subscription, including the Smart Alerts feature. It sounds like you probably had Smart Alerts set up while your trial was active, and now that your trial has ended, Smart Alerts is no longer available. If you let us know which Ring device you have, we can guide you through what motion settings are available without a plan. The device name is located on the Device Health page in the Ring app.
