Snapshot not working on all 3 devices
Hi. I have two wired video doorbell pro 2 wired doorbells and one spotlight cam pro and the snapshot feature no longer works on all these devices. The last time it worked was in January. I had disabled the feature for a few days and when it no longer takes snapshot when i tried turning the feature on shortly after… combinations of rebooting and turning the feature on and off has not fixed the issue.

Hi @user79376. The Snapshot Capture feature requires an active Ring Protect subscription. Since you have multiple devices, you would need to have a Basic plan for each device or a Plus plan to cover all of them. Once you’ve ensured your subscription is active, follow the steps outlined here to make sure Snapshot Capture is set up properly. One other thing to note is that motion detection must be enabled in order for Snapshot Capture to function. If you have motion detection turned off in a particular Mode, this will prevent snapshots from being taken. @user79376 Thank you for that update, I’m glad our support team was able to find a resolution. This could help other neighbors who have a similar environment with a lot of foot traffic.

I called ring support. Spent 1.5hrs with support that went nowhere and the guy escalated it to a much more knowledgeable person. It turns out my cameras were almost always recording video which was preventing the snapshot feature from kicking in. The feature now works on all the devices after adjusting the birds eye zone and camera motion detection zones. I face a very busy street so the cars and foot traffic was causing non-stop recordings.
