Smaller Security Screws on doorbell

Hi, just moved into a new house and the previous owners left their wired ring doorbell. The security screwdriver with my current set (orange) is too large. Is this a previous model that needs a different screwdriver size? Also am I correct that scanning the QR code inside will let me use this doorbell into my account?

Hi @Mpeskin. Yes, they were smaller; the older models of Ring devices used a T6 security screw. You should be able to purchase one at your local hardware store to remove the screw. Also, we have this Help Center [article](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038010351-How-to-Take-Over-or-Change-Ownership-of-a-Ring-Device) with information on device ownership.
