Screw Ports broken

Question

I have found that over time the parts where the screws go when fitting back on the wall, have gone brittle and now the screws will not tighten? And cracked What can be done?

Hi @Laird84. I would try cleaning the area with a brush or a compressed air can, as there might be debris in there, keeping it from tightening down.
