Router Compatibility

Hi guys, I just got my new ring doorbell 3plus. I can connect it to my old router, but not to my new router (huawei 5g cpe pro 2 ). I'm wondering, if there compatibility problems?

Hi @Tom13. Can you offer some details on what error message you're receiving, or what part of the setup process you're getting stuck at? Feel free to attach screenshots as well. Once I have a better idea of what the problem is, I'd be happy to see how I can help. :)

Thx for interest in the topic. I have redone the setup process and started with the reset of the device. I followed the steps from the app. Could connect to the ring device and the ring device connected to the router. I can confirm this, since I checked it in the router settings. So everything is fine until, the ring doorbell is blinking to the left. According to the screenshot shot there's a problem with the connection.

Hi @Tom13. Thanks for sharing that screenshot! I'd recommend resetting your Doorbell and rebooting your router before trying to set it up again. Hold down the setup button on the Doorbell for at least 20 seconds to reset it. After that, try rebooting your router by unplugging it for about a minute and then plugging it back in. If the setup is still failing after trying these steps, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). They'll be able to take a deeper look at your device and account to offer more advanced troubleshooting help. We’re taking additional steps to protect our team and help reduce the spread of COVID-19, so this has resulted in longer than normal wait times. If you are outside of the US, please read our response to COVID-19 [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360041597471) to see how to contact support. :)

Thx for your support, but it doesn't work. I did as you suggested with the same result. I had a connection to the router for a short time, but it get lost again. Other devices working well. Had also two calls with the support line without any success.
